JUNIE BINU – 2005-2009
As a proud graduate of the Duncan School of Nursing, I am thrilled to share my heartfelt testimonial about my incredible journey at this remarkable institution. My time at Duncan was filled with unforgettable memories, from the laughter and camaraderie shared with my friends to the inspiring moments spent learning alongside dedicated teachers.
The faculty at Duncan School of Nursing was exceptional, equipping me with the comprehensive skills and confidence needed to excel as a successful nurse.
After completing my studies at Duncan, I did my Master’s in Nursing and worked as an Assistant Professor in a college of nursing, then I went to the United Kingdom, where I worked as a registered nurse in the cardiology department in the NHS, one of the most reputed health services in the world. While working in such a reputable health facility in the United Kingdom, I realized how valuable my studies and training at Duncan were, which enabled me to stand in the front row among many. In 2023, I moved to Australia. I am settled here and working as a registered nurse in one of the public hospitals in Melbourne.
At this moment, I would like to thank all my teachers; without their guidance and support, I wouldn’t be able to be here. I would also like to thank Ex-Principal Manjula Madam, for being so kind and loving.
I would also like to thank all the hospital staff for their support and guidance throughout my clinical posting, which enabled me to be a confident nurse.
Special thanks to Dorcas Madam for her guidance and support during my studies, and for taking care of me as a parent and guardian. She helped me a lot in my process of migrating from the United Kingdom to Australia. Thank you, Ma’am.
I wish all the best to all the students for their studies and future endeavors.
Thank You, Duncan School of Nursing.
With Kind Regards
Junie Binu
