ANNUAL NURSING SCHOOL REPORT 2020– 2021
This annual report highlights updates about the administrative, academic, community trips Research projects and clinical practice, which took place over the past one year, whereas GOD sustained each of us with the unforeseen challenges caused by the COVID – 19 Pandemic and its dreadful impact which is still existing today .We would like to share few glimpse of SON Duncan.
G.N.M INTERVIEW – GNM Online Interview was conducted in September 2020 and 20 candidates were selected out of 56.
SCHOOL EXAM-Online school Examination was conducted for GNM First and second year students as per the instructions received from the MIBE Board and all of them cleared the exam successfully in September 2020.
MIBE BOARD EXAM – GNM 21 final year students appeared in the board exam and secured 100% result in the MIBE Board held in November 2020.
MIBE ACHIEVEMENTAWARD- Ms. Kasia Lepcha, Third year student topped 1st Rank Ms Dikshya Acharya and Km Vandana Devi secured 15 Rank in MIBE Board out of 412 students.
EKTA MEMEORIAL AWARD – Ms Kasia Lepcha Third year student was awarded Ekta Memorial award in loving memory of late first year nursing student Ms Ekta Bhengra for her outstanding performance in the class.
ONLINE MIBE CHRISTMAS PROGRAM: Second year students participated in Christmas programme organized by the MIBE Board on 29 December2020.
GRADUATION & LAMP LIGHTING PROGRAM – Graduation & Lamp Lighting ceremony was held on 14 January 2021 Shri Shirsat Kapil Ashok (DM) Motihari district was honored to be the chief guest of the function and SDM, DSP Raxaul were the special guests. 20 graduated 16 were posted in Duncan, three were posted to Madhepura, Champa, Prem Jyoti Bararhwa and one non EHA sponsored candidate joined GEMS Dehrionson.
SNA CULTURAL PROGRAM – All students took active participation in Cultural program organized by SNA on graduation day.
SNA SPORTS: All students participated in the annual sports December 2020. Winners were awarded prizes on Graduation day.
BEST SPORTS STAR AWARD – Ms Sabila Tamang third year student was awarded trophy for the best sports star of Annual sports 2020.
BEST NURSE AWARD –Ms Rekha Kumari Third year student was awarded the trophy for best nurse of the batch 2017.
BEST IN EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITY AWARD –Ms Nisha Chettri Third year student was awarded the trophy for best student in extracurricular activities.
AGM MEETING – MIBE Annual General Body Meeting and curriculum meeting was held in February 2021.All tutors attended the Zoom Meeting and took part in discussion.
INSERVICE TRAINING – Mrs. Ester B. Khura attended an online training on simulation based teaching and learning organized by CMAI in collaboration with Pronto international at Patna for three days from March 9 and 11 2021.
To conclude our mission, we will continue to serve with dedication and commitment.
