ANNUAL NURSING SCHOOL REPORT 2019 – 2020
This report highlights few events which took place over the past one year where GOD sustained each of us with his enormous blessings and continuous guidance. We feel fortunate that we strive to work with the heart of dedications together in order to nurture the young men and women and prepare them to become a competent nurse and here we like to share few glimpse of SON Duncan.
NURSES DAY CELEBRATION – International Nurses day was celebrated on 12th May 2019. Students participated in Various SNA activities, cultural program, Elocution Quiz and poster competitions. Health educations were imparted to the patient relatives through Role play skits and demonstrations based on the theme of International Nurses Day.
G.N.M INTERVIEW – GNM Interview was conducted on 13 and 14 August 20 candidates were selected out of 58 for GNM training.
MIBE ACHIEVEMENTAWARD- Ms. Kalpana Chettri Third year student was awarded Gold Medal by the MIBE Board in the 45 Biennial Conference held in Hyderabad 2019 November for her outstanding performance. Ms Srijana Mukhiya First year student topped 10th Rank out of 374.
MIBE SUPPLEMENTARY EXAM- Supplementary exams are suspended due to Lockdown.
SNA SPORTS – SNA Annual nursing school sports were held on 1 & 2 November 2019.
GRADUATION PROGRAM – Graduation ceremony was held on 29November Dr Sunil Gokavi (ED) was honored to be the chief guest of the function.19 graduated 14 were posted in Duncan and 1 was posted to Madhepura Christian Hospital.
SNA MELA- SNA Mela was conducted on 5 March 2020.
AGM MEETING – MIBE Annual General Body Meeting was held from 5 to 6 February 2020.Ms Dorcas Lepcha Mrs. Ester Kura and Mrs. Poonam Lakra attended the Meeting and workshop on Research Methodology held in Nagpur Maharashtra
NEW VEHICLE – 36-seater new bus is bought for the College of Nursing.
FUTURE COLLEGE OF NURSING – College of Nursing building project plan is supported by EMMS Project and construction plan is under process.
BIHAR GOVT 50% QUOTA FOR GNM- From the Academic year all the private institutions are notified that 50 % seats will be occupied by the Govt Candidates.
To conclude our mission, we will continue to review, refresh and establish new ideas and changes as and when needed in the future.
